Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This Cancellation Policy governs the cancellation, changes and refunds of bookings for celebrations and events at Magic Place By Samy. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and is accepted when you confirm a booking.

2. Deposit and Booking Confirmation

A €100 deposit is required to confirm a booking. This deposit is deducted from the total cost of the event and secures exclusive use of your chosen date and time slot.

3. Cancellation by the Customer

If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. The general conditions are as follows:

• More than 15 days before the event date: the deposit is fully refunded or can be kept as credit for a new date.
• Between 15 and 7 days before: the deposit can be kept as credit for a new booking within the following 3 months.
• Less than 7 days before, or in the event of a no-show: the deposit is non-refundable, as the date is held exclusively for you and blocked for other customers.

4. Date or Time Changes

You can request a date or time change subject to availability. If requested at least 7 days in advance, the change is free of charge and the deposit is retained. Changes requested with less than 7 days notice are subject to availability and may result in the loss of the deposit.

5. Refunds

Where a refund applies, it will be issued using the same payment method used for the booking, within approximately 5 to 10 business days. Amounts corresponding to personalised services or products already ordered (for example, cakes, bespoke decoration or specific materials) are non-refundable.

6. Cancellation by Magic Place By Samy

In the exceptional event that we must cancel a booking due to force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer you a new date or a full refund of the amounts paid, whichever you prefer.

7. How to Request a Cancellation or Change

To cancel or change your booking, please contact us with your reference number (for example, MP-0001), the event date and the contact details used when booking.
